About this keyboard
Japanese is written with two kana syllabaries — Hiragana for native words and Katakana for foreign words and emphasis — plus kanji. This board gives you the full gojūon of both kana; tap the あ / ア key to switch between them and copy your text anywhere.
How to use
- Tap the kana — Use the on-screen Hiragana board to type.
- Switch to Katakana — Tap the あ / ア key to switch between Hiragana and Katakana.
- Copy your text — Press Copy to put your Japanese text on the clipboard.
