About this keyboard
This is the Simplified Chinese keyboard (简体). You type Pinyin — the romanised sound — and pick the matching Simplified character (简体字) from the candidate bar; for example type "ni" and choose 你. It covers everyday characters. If you need Traditional characters, we have a separate Traditional Chinese keyboard.
How to use
- Type the pinyin — Type a syllable in pinyin without tones, e.g. "ni" then "hao".
- Pick the character — Tap the Simplified character you want from the candidate bar — or press Space to take the first one.
- Copy your text — Press Copy to put your Chinese text on the clipboard.
